Family Planning Action Fund of Maine
Your Statewide Voice for Reproductive Freedom
The Family Planning Action Fund of Maine works to coordinate and unify
organizations, communities, and individuals supportive of the pro-choice
mission and function as an information and educational resource on the
reproductive rights and family planning public policies.
The Family Planning Action Fund of Maine seeks to foster and preserve a
pro-choice social and political climate favorable to the exercise of
reproductive freedom to include, but not limited to, publicly advocating
pro-choice voting, publicly distributing candidate questionnaires, engaging
in candidate electoral work, sponsoring candidate debates and communicating
with members regarding candidate positions; and encourage and protect
informed individual choice regarding reproductive health care and advocate
public policies that guarantee the right, as well as, full nondiscriminatory
access to such care.

Maine Women's Lobby
Since 1978, the member-driven Maine Women's Lobby has been a voice for women and girls of Maine. We work to protect women's rights and promote equality by securing passage of legislation and shaping the debates on issues such as economic justice, access to health care, reproductive choice, safety from abuse and harassment, and civil rights protections for all citizens. Membership dues support the only full-time multi-issue women-focused lobbyist at the Statehouse.
